Raudhatus Saliheen is a project initiated by The Islamic Society of Peel, also known as Makki Masjid Brampton. Along with the many services provided by the Masjid , our experienced and dedicated team have been fortunate to provide funeral services to the Muslim Community for the last 20 years.
During what is usually the most trying time for any individual when losing a loved one, our licensed staff have been there with professionalism and care.
Our Vision
To establish a dedicated non-profit cemetery fully owned and operated by Muslims to serve Muslims living in Regions of Peel and Halton and their surrounding areas. Named after the area in the Prophet’s Masjid in Madinah between his house and his pulpit, “Raudhatus Saliheen Cemetery’ (The garden of the Righteous) will provide suitable alternative to the current situation where:
After over 6 decades of Muslim presence in Peel and Halton regions, there is finally an opportunity for us to have our own cemetery that will serve our unique religious and cultural traditions. Located on 25 acres in Georgetown, ON, at 11555 17 th sideroad, Raudhatus Saliheen is just a little more than a half an hour drive from Makki Masjid Brampton. The land is flat and level, thus making it perfectly suitable for thousands of graves and will be beautifully landscaped.
